Why We Like It

Animals can use their hands or mouths to manipulate the wiffle balls and obtain food, which simulates the animal searching through substrate or foliage to find food. Great for use with insects or small nuts and seeds.

Materials
  • Wiffle balls

  • PVC pipe (slightly larger diameter than the wiffle balls you're using)

  • 2 PVC end caps to fit PVC pipe

  • 2 eye bolts with locking nuts and locking washers

  • Drill sized to diameter of eye bolts

  • Hole saw

How to Make It
  1. Use a hole saw to drill 3-4 holes (in a line) in the PVC pipe

  2. Use a regular drill bit to drill through the middle of each PVC end cap

  3. Thread an eye bolt through each PVC end cap, and secure with a locking washer and locking nut

  4. Place wiffle balls inside PVC pipe, and cap each end

  5. Fill with food

  6. Secure to enclosure using eye bolts on either end of the PVC pipe
