Why We Like It

This is a perfect on-exhibit naturalistic enrichment item that is a great alternative to a Kong. Seashells are an excellent enrichment for invertebrates and other small animals to explore. 

Materials

  • Seashell

  • Small food items to put in seashell

How to Make It

  1. Thoroughly clean seashell and prepare for use by your animals

  2. Fill seashell with small bits of food. Smash the food if you can to make the extraction more difficult
