Why We Like It

This enrichment is perfect for small animals that enjoy being destructive. Animals must pull strips of food-filled paper through the various holes in the Hol-ee Roller, which is a physical task, while working to figure out the best way to extract the paper.

Materials
How to Make It
  1. Cut up small pieces of food (the smaller the better--you want your animals to spend as much time as possible finding and extracting food)

  2. Wrap a few small pieces of food in some animal-safe paper

  3. Stuff the food-filled paper inside the Hol-ee Roller

  4. Repeat steps 2&3 until the Holey Roller is completely filled with food and paper
