Why We Like It
This is great sensory enrichment for water-dwelling animals. Sea turtles, otters, and other animals can rub their bodies against the brushes to scratch and clean themselves.
Materials
-
4-5 deck brushes
-
4 pieces of 3" or 4" PVC pipe (they can all be the same length or two can be one length and two can be another length)

PVC elbows to fit the PVC pipes

Heavy-duty zip ties

PVC glue
How to Make It

Construct a square or rectangle out of the PVC pipes and PVC elbows. Use PVC glue to secure the elbows onto each piece of PVC

Zip-tie each deck brush to each side of the rectangle. Use multiple zipties per deck brush.

Let the PVC glue dry and thoroughly clean the enrichment before use
