Why We Like It

This is a very easy DIY enrichment that can take animals quite a bit of time to solve. It require animals to use problem-solving skills but also allows them to be destructive to retrieve the food in the cups. Hang this just above a comfortable reach to encourage animals to climb and stretch for their treats!

  • Paper cup holder

  • Twine

  • Scissors

How to Make It
  1. Cut the "pointy parts" out of the cupholder

  2. Poke holes through the peak of each "pointy part"

  3. Tie a knot at one end of a piece of twine

  4. Thread the "pointy parts" onto the twine in opposite directions to form closed chambers

  5. Cut the twine with enough length to hang the enrichment
