Why We Like It
This enrichment is very easy to make and can be modified for use with just about any animal.
Materials
Cardboard box
Substrate (hay, wood wool, shredded paper, etc)
Pieces of food
How to Make It
Obtain a cardboard box and remove all tape, staples, glue, etc
Fill cardboard box with substrate (like hay, shredded paper, wood wool) and then mix in bits of food.
Cut holes in the box for animals like anteaters, or leave as-is.
