Why We Like It

This is an easy and fun way to provide smaller animals with a new area to explore. Animals will enjoy burrowing between the balls and the novel feeling of the plastic. You can sprinkle food and insects in the container with the balls for a creative forage!

Materials
  • Container for balls

  • Soft plastic balls

  • Bits of food or insects (if desired)

How to Make It
  1. Thoroughly clean the balls so they're suitable for your animal

  2. Place the balls in a container such as a box, kiddie pool, or bucket

  3. Optional- sprinkle food in the container and mix in with the balls for a fun forage
